Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at UNAM and Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Nuevo León (UANL). He has had research stays in England and Canada and has been a visiting professor at the University of Ghent, Belgium.

Research Manager in the Flat Steel Division of the Company Hylsa, S.A. de C.V.

He directed the Center for Innovation, Research and Development of Engineering and Technology at UANL.

He chaired the Transversal Technology Commission of the National System of Researchers in Mexico.
